Biography: Richard W. Mason
Richard Mason is a former corporate officer for a Fortune 300 corporation and the former CEO of a prominent evangelical ministry. Mason's predominant focus at this time is non-profit board governance, and he serves individual boards and CEOs of national and international non-profit organizations. He is a former captain in the U.S. Army.
A member of the ADF Board of Directors since November 1996, Mason currently serves as chairman of the Compensation Committee. His interest in ADF was motivated by the need to protect the free speech rights of individuals, specifically followers of Christ who live and share the Gospel.
His service to other boards, non-profit organizations, and the local community includes RBC Ministries (volunteer advisor) and Precept Ministries (volunteer advisor). He is a past board member of 15 organizations.
Mason and his family reside in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois, B.A. Science.
