Tony Snow with ADF President Alan Sears |
Last Saturday, we lost a dear friend and strong supporter of the battle for religious freedom. Tony Snow was a former White House Press Secretary, syndicated columnist, editor, TV anchor, radio show host and musician, but these descriptions fail to fully describe his impact on the world.
Alan Sears described Tony as “a man of great faith, a devoted husband and father, and a man whose life touched so many, including mine.”
Over the years, several ADF attorneys were featured on programs hosted by Tony. Additionally, he spoke at the ADF 2005 Liberty Summit, and delivered an inspiring address regarding religious freedom in America and current challenges from groups like the ACLU and its allies.
While we mourn Tony’s passing, we celebrate his life, and thank God that he “fought the good fight” during his time on this earth. (2 Timothy 4:7-8)
