William Pew Religious Freedom Scholarship
Law students who are serious about legal research and writing may be interested in the annual William Pew Religious Freedom Scholarship Competition. A new writing topic is announced in September each academic year and entries must be submitted by a designated deadline the following spring. The winning law student will receive a cash award of $2,500.
William Pew was deeply concerned with issues of religious freedom and the human rights of persons exercising all faiths. As a Christian, he was particularly concerned with the minimization of religious freedom in contemporary jurisprudence and other legal issues directly impacting Christians and Christianity.
